White wine has existed for at least 4000 years.
White wine is mainly from "white" grapes, which are green or yellow in colour, such as the Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, and Riesling.
White wine is extremely popular with, or in seafood dishes (think seafood linguine or moules mariniere) however white wine is also a go-to favourite for events, parties and celebrations.
